For Captains

Now that you've successfully registered for the 2017 PGA Junior League Golf season, use the below tutorials should you need help using the pgajlg.com website. For further assistance,  please contact your Section League Manager.

How do I login to pgajlg.com?

If you're a Captain or Coach and would like to login to your SportsEngine account on pgajlg.com, follow the below instructions.

Step 1) Go to www.pgajlg.com

Step 2) Click the 'Login' button on the top right corner of the website, next to the Search bar. 

Step 3) Enter your SportsEngine username or email address, and your password. Then click 'Sign In'

How do I edit my Registration Entry?

If you're a Captain and would like to update any information within your registration entry (Phone Number, Price, Max Participants, Close Date, etc.), follow the steps below. 

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Once logged in, select the pulldown arrow next to your username in the upper left of the website

Step 3) Click 'Registrations'

Step 4) Find and select the Registration Entry you'd like to edit

Step 5) Click 'Edit' next to the section of information you'd like to edit

Step 6) Input your edits, scroll down and click 'Save Registration Entry'

How do my Players Register?

Now that you've registered as a Captain, your players can register by following the steps below:

Step 1) Go to www.pgajlg.com/register

Step 2) Enter the search parameters to find the facility you'd like to register for. You can use a zip code or keyword search.

Step 3) Click the 'Register' button

Step 4) Login with your existing SporstEngine account, or Sign Up if you don't already have one.

Step 5) Complete the form and make payment to complete your registration. Once completed, you'll arrive at a receipt screen. A receipt email will also be emailed to the address associated with your SportsEngine account.

How do I view registered players and run reports?

Now that your players have started registering, you can run customized reports by following the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate the 'Sport Mgmt' tab of the Admin Control Panel

Step 3) Select the '2017 Player Registration' from the 'Select a Registration' dropdown menu

Step 4) Click on the Fields and from the question group(s) select the field to include in the report. 

To filter data, click on 'Filters' then 'Add a Rule'. Use the dropdown menus to set the filter. 

Step 5) To export the report to Excel, click 'Export to Excel' above the registration data

How do I roster players?

Now that players have registered at your facility, you'll want to roster them to a team. To complete the rostering process, follow the steps below. 

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Click on the 'Sport Management' tab within the Admin Control Panel

Step 3) Choose your facility's player registration from the 'Select a Registration' dropdown menu. Then click the Team Rosters button and select a team. 

Step 4) Click the green arrow next to the player's name that you would like to register

How do I add coaches to my team page?

If another captain or coach needs access to your team page to assist with rostering and scheduling, you'll need to grant them permissions to do so on your team page. 

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into 'Edit' mode. Click the yellow 'Admin' button on the team page, then select 'Permissions' from the dropdown menu.

Step 4) Click 'Add Profiles'. Search the name of the coach/captain, select their name, and check the box under the 'Owner' column.

Note: there are a large amount of profiles on the PGAJLG website. We recommend searching by email addresses associated with the profile or first & last name.

How do I schedule a game? (desktop and mobile app)

If you're a Captain and would like to schedule games for your team, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into Edit mode, click the 'Manage Team' button, and select 'Schedule' from the left hand menu

Step 4) Click the 'Add New Game' button. From the 'Opponent' dropdown menu search the team you will be playing against. Enter in the remaining game details and click 'Add Game'.

How do I score a game? (desktop and mobile app)

If you're a Captain and would like to score games for your team, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into Edit mode, click 'Game Schedule', then 'QS' to the right of the game you'd like to score

Step 4) Select 'Final' from the Game Status dropdown, enter in the score and click 'Save'

How do I message my team? (desktop and mobile app)

If you're a Captain and would like to message your team, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into Edit mode, click the 'Manage Team' button

Step 4) Check the box next to the player(s) you would like to message, then click the 'Message' button. Draft the message and click 'Send Message'.

How do I send RSVPs? (desktop and mobile app)

If you're a Captain and would like to send out RSVPs to your team, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into Edit mode, click the 'Manage Team' button, and select 'Schedule' from the left hand menu

Step 4) Check the box next to the event you'd like to send RSVPs out for, then click the 'Invite' button. Check the box next to the player(s), then click 'Send Invites' button.

How do I view RSVPs? (desktop and mobile app)

If you're a Captain and would like to see check the status of the RSVPs you've sent out for your team, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Locate your team page

Step 3) Switch into Edit mode, click the 'Manage Team' button, and select 'Schedule' from the left hand menu

Step 4) Select  the 'RSVPs' tab

Note: The forward and back arrows to the left of the month can be used to navigate to past and future event dates

Refunds and Disputes

Refunds and disputes should follow the below process...

Step 1) Parent notifies Captain that they are requesting a refund

Step 2) Captain requests that the Parent forwards their PGA Junior League Golf Online Store Receipt to them

Step 3) Captain forwards the parent's email to jlgrefund@pgahq.com. In the absence of a receipt, the Captain collects the following information from the Parent and forwards it to jlgrefund@pgahq.com:

a. Payee First and Last Name (must match the name on the credit card that was used)
b. Captain Name
c. Order Total (Registration Fee + Processing Fee)

Step 4) Refund is processed

NOTE 1: If the Team Kit has already shipped, the $75 registration fee paid to PGA REACH is non-refundable

NOTE 2: If the Parent requests a refund directly from PGA REACH the refund will be issued and the Captain will be notified

NOTE 3: In the event that a chargeback dispute is initiated by a parent, the PGA will immediately send notification to the Captain via their email to confirm if the chargeback is valid. If a refund is not due, the Captain will be required to submit documentation to refute the chargeback within 7 days. If the chargeback is lost and the Captain has already received the registration fees, the Captain will be required to send payment to refund PGA REACH for the amount previously funded. The expectation is that whenever possible, the Captain should handle communication with the Parent in resolving the chargeback within the 7 days.

For Parents

How do I register?

Ready to sign up for a PGA Junior League Golf program? Follow the steps below to register a player.

Step 1) Go to www.pgajlg.com/register

Step 2) Enter the search information to find the facility you'd like to register for. You can use a zip code or keyword search.

Step 3) Click the 'Register' button

Step 4) Login with your existing SporstEngine account, or Sign Up if you don't already have one.

Step 5) Complete the form and make payment to complete your registration. Once completed, you'll arrive at a receipt screen. A receipt will also be sent to the email address associated with your SportsEngine account.

How do I edit my Registration Entry?

If you've already registered a player and would like to update any information within the registration entry (Name, Primary Contact Information, Medical Information, etc.), follow the steps below:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Once logged in, select the pulldown arrow next to your username in the upper left of the website

Step 3) Click 'Registrations'

Step 4) Find and select the '2017 Player Registration' entry you'd like to edit

Step 5) Click 'Edit' next to the section of information you'd like to edit

Step 6) Input your edits, scroll down and click 'Save Registration Entry'

How do I find a team page?

After you have signed a child up to participate in PGA Junior League Golf, the captain will place the child on a team. To find the team page, follow the steps below:

Step 1) Navigate to www.pgajlg.com

Step 2) In the top right Search bar, enter in the name of the team and click the 'Search' button

Step 3) Select the team from the populated search results

How do I enable text message notifications?

In order to receive text notifications from your player's PGA Junior League Golf team, you'll need to add your mobile number to your SportsEngine account. Follow the directions below to complete this process:

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account

Step 2) Once logged in, select the pulldown arrow next to your username in the upper left of the website. Select 'Account Settings' from your dashboard

Step 3) Click 'Add Mobile Phone', submit phone number and validate

Step 4) Select 'Household' from the menu on the left, then click on the name of the player

Step 5) Under 'Contact Information' click 'Add Phone Number'

Step 6) Select 'Account Settings' from the menu on the left. Under 'Notification Settings' click the 'Text' checkbox within the PGA Junior League row

How do I follow a team? (mobile app)

If you login to the mobile app with the SportsEngine account that was used to register your player, their team will automatically appear in the Favorites tab. If you did not register a player using a SportsEngine account you will want to follow a teams so that it appears in the Favorites tab of the PGAJLG mobile app. 

Step 1) Login into your SportsEngine account in PGA JLG mobile app

Step 2) Tap 'Favorites in the bottom left hand corner, then tap the Search icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter in the team name. 

Step 3) Tap the star icon next to the team name, then tap 'Done"

How do I view messages?

Once your captain has sent out a message to your player or your player's team, you can view the message through the PGAJLG mobile app or via email. 

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account in the PGAJLG mobile app

Step 2) Select your team from the Favorites menu

Step 3) Tap on 'Messages' from the team menu. Messages sent to your player will appear in the 'Inbox'.

How do I RSVP?

Once your captain has sent out invites for events or games, you can RSVP in the PGAJLG mobile app or via email. 

Step 1) Login to your SportsEngine account in the PGAJLG mobile app

Step 2) Select your team from the 'Favorites' menu

Step 3) Tap on 'Your RSVPs' from the team menu, then tap on the event you would like to RSVP to. Choose your response and tap 'Save' in the upper right corner.
