More than 300 girls and boys from teams in the Carolinas PGA Section visit Quail Hollow for special day

It’s #PGAChamp week!

What better way to kick it off than with a few hundred cheering PGA Junior League Golfers on the 18th green of Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina?!

Yesterday, Golf Channel host and PGA Professional Michael Breed emceed the special gathering, and he had a little help from his friends. One by one, PGA Junior League Golf Ambassadors Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy stepped out to surprise the crowd and participate in a fun selfie session and Q&A with the group.

When the two were asked what color jersey they would have worn had they participated in PGA Junior League Golf, the answers came pretty easily. Ireland green for Rory, while Rickie opted for his signature orange.

Everyone also got to hang around to watch (with a few lucky PGA Junior League Golfers taking part in) a taping of The Golf Fix with Michael Breed.

We'd call that a pretty amazing day!
