As PGA Tour players make their way to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut for the Travelers Championship this week, some local PGA Junior League Golfers had a very special opportunity to visit the site and play matches on the Karl Krapek Family Learning Links yesterday morning.
PGA Junior League Golf teams from Suzy Whaley Golf, Timberlin Golf Club, The Hartford Golf Club, Fairview Farm Golf Course and Golf Club of Avon had fun competing and catching the practice rounds.
Jim Furyk – who holds the record for the lowest score in PGA Tour history, a 58 that he shot at the 2016 Travelers Championship – even stopped to take a selfie with Andrew Dunn, 10, a member of the Suzy Whaley Golf team!

New England Player Development Regional Manager Brian Bain, PGA, was also there to capture some fun Par 5s with some of the players. Check out these Q&As from Brayden Grossman, 7, of Fairview Farm Golf Course; Maren Livingstone, 13, of The Hartford Golf Club; and JR Rottkamp, 13, of Golf Club of Avon!
